Mysteries of God Monday
as received by Deacon Stan Cor; shared with permission
“What we utter is God’s wisdom: a mysterious, a hidden wisdom. God planned it before all ages for our glory.
Of this wisdom it is written: ‘Eyes have not seen, ear has not heard, nor has it so much as dawned on man what God has prepared for those who love Him.’ Yet God has revealed this wisdom to us thru the Spirit.” (1 Cor. 2:8-9)
The wisdom of God is a mystery, a hidden wisdom. It is hidden to the lost, but God’s wisdom is not hidden from us who are saved, it was hidden for us and revealed to us by the Holy Spirit. As people redeemed by Christ, we have access to the wisdom of God. Holy Spirit knows everything and reveals to us the wisdom of God we need. We should, therefore, cultivate friendship with the Holy Spirit so He can impart to us wisdom, insight and revelation & help us to grow in spiritual maturity, in the fruit & charisms of the Spirit.
Holy Spirit, come reveal God’s wisdom to us; reveal the mysteries of God to us more & more. We need You. We want you. We want fellowship with you. Holy Spirit, come!
The existence of God is a mystery whose reality is so easily seen by anyone with a heart open to accept what their eyes see. The wonders of creation, from the microscopic to the vastness of the universe are all clear evidence that God exists; a divine eternal all wise, all powerful God has to be the Creator of all we see. The variety, beauty & order we see in everything around us is clear evidence pointing to God.
It has been said, “To one who believes no evidence is necessary; to one who refuses to believe no evidence is sufficient.” This points out the necessity of ongoing intercession that the blinders will be removed from the spiritual eyes of unbelievers so that they will see the truth of God & be saved thru faith in Him & in Jesus His Son. Jesus is the one Mediator between Father God and mankind. Pray that they will see & admit the evidence pointing to the Creator, & thru faith be saved , set free, made holy, whole & restored fully in every area of their lives.
God’s mysteries are hidden for us who believe & for those who will believe as they honestly seek the truth. Jesus said, “Seek and you will find.”
Holy Spirit, reveal God & His mysteries to all people. We give you earthly permission for heavenly intervention. Amen.
