The Spirit and the Bride Saturday
as received by Deacon Stan Cor; shared with permission
“The Spirit and the Bride say, ‘Come!’ Let him who hears say, ‘Come!’ Let him who is thirsty come forward; let all who desire it accept the gift of life-giving water. (Rev. 22:17)”
Amen, even so come Lord Jesus, come!
Lord Jesus, help us to be aware of all the many ways You come to us: in Your Word, in Your Body and Blood, in our fellow Christians, in the beauty of creation, in our prayer, praise and worship, and in so many other ways. Help us be aware of Your abiding presence with us and within us, at work in us and thru us. Having that awareness, give us the holy boldness to share You with others and the words that will touch their hearts and draw them to You, Jesus.
The Spirit and the Bride – the Church – say, “Come! Reveal Yourself to us, come!”
The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come!”
Yes, Lord Jesus, come! Come reveal Yourself to us, Your people, to inspire us and transform us. Reveal Yourself thru us, so that others can see You in us and be attracted to You to receive the new birth thru faith in You.
Transform us so that we can say as Paul said, “It is no longer I who live but Christ Who lives in me.” Purify us, sanctify us, make us all that we were created and destined to be,. Be glorified in us and thru us.
You are the true vine; attached to You & nourished by Your resurrection life we shall bear rich abundant fruit. We shall reflect and radiate the glory of God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen!
